Cyfuture adorned with Cyber Essentials Plus Certification

Conducted by George Rees of the Certifying Body IT Governance (a licensed certification body), the certification assures that Cyfuture's information security controls, imperative in mitigating internet-borne cyber attacks, comply with the stringent Cyber Essentials information security standards.

The audit was performed remotely on 3xWindows 10 Pro 1909 devices, wherein the secure configuration and access control were tested by downloading various binaries and malware on each accessible browser (Edge, IE, and Chrome on Windows devices). All malware was purged automatically by the anti-virus solution installed, securing all the user controls. Similar tests were repeated for emails (via outlook), and again, all the malware was removed in transit, securing appropriate user controls to ensure user interactions for the non-malware test files. External testing formats covered remote vulnerability assessment, and the internal testing procedures included reviewing device patching, malware protection, and safeguarding against malware sent by email and through a website.
