Moscow's high-tech enterprises offer online tours in four foreign languages

MOSCOW, Russian Federation - Oct. 8, 2020 - PRLog -- Virtual tours to high-tech enterprises of the Special Economic Zone sites will start at the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The first tour will take place on October 13 at the production facility of modern orthopedic shoes by "Ortomoda" and will be available on the Youtube channel of the SEZ in five languages: Russian, English, French, German and Chinese.

"More than 180 Moscow-based high-tech enterprises are the residents of the Technopolis facilities. The developments of these enterprises, from artificial intelligence to medicine, are in demand both in the Russian and global markets. Offline tours to the enterprises of the Moscow special economic zone were a huge success, including among foreign visitors. That's why we created conditions for anyone to be able to visit modern Moscow production facilities from anywhere in the world. Starting from October, tours will be available online in Russian, English, French, German and Chinese," said Vladimir Efimov, Deputy mayor of Moscow for economic policy and development.

He added that since the end of July, more than 500 Moscow residents have visited about 20 high-tech enterprises engaged in manufacturing 3D products and printing products, programming copters and manufacturing educational kits and medical products. Introductory 'offline' tours have proved to be very popular among schoolchildren and students who are in the process of choosing their future profession.

Guests of virtual tours will have a chance to see how private enterprises specializing in electronics equipment work, visit the Angstrem's museum of electronics, have a look inside the 'clean' rooms of a plastic processing plant and visit the factory for medical equipment production.

Introductory tours translated into English, French and German will help attract foreign visitors or may become a useful tool for teachers and pupils of specialist language schools.

The tours can be viewed online on the Youtube channel of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbeHpDoX34N4o5hiDpg4zcA). Online visitors will have the opportunity to ask questions and get responses in real time. The first online tours will start before the end of October.
