By: AdvisorSmith To identify the highest-paying jobs, AdvisorSmith used data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics to see which occupations had more than 50 percent of workers without a college degree. AdvisorSmith discovered the top 100 occupations and ranked them based on their annual median salary. All the top professions had an annual median salary that was well above the national median wage of $39,810. Out of the top 25 occupations, the most common high-paying job was first-line supervisors of construction trades and extraction workers. Eighty-one percent of first-line supervisors do not hold a degree and earn an annual median salary of $66,210.
