Who Wins in 2020? It's not what you think
Our emotional cups are overflowing due to stressful events of 2020. Discussions are happening, but arguments are leading. Leading us towards emotional breakdowns. How can we win when we feel we're losing?
2. How does it feel when you're emotionally tapped out?
3. Are you physically exhausted?
4. Do you have clarity of thought?
5. Is it difficult to make decisions, even simple ones?
6. Are you finding it hard to get motivated?
7. Last question: In five years from now, do you want to feel the same way you do today?
If you've answered yes to any of the above questions, 1-6, and a big NO to question 7, then it's time to find a way to emotionally rebalance. What does that mean? It means it's time to take inventory of where your stress is coming from and to create a plan to eliminate it, or at least lessen it. At Restored-Soul, Jody and Kristen are mental health leaders by profession and at heart. They have created a signature methodology specifically for those who are ready to regain emotional balance.
Look at it like you would if you were making an accounting of your financial debts. Financially you would list all your credit cards, the interest rate for each one, and the balance owed - then work a plan to pay off the card with the highest interest rate, right?
To emotionally rebalance, list all the areas that are currently stressful in your life - are you parents of teenagers or small children? Are you in a stressful relationship?
Spend a few minutes and write it out. Then decide, which one of your situations seems to be the most stressful. Now you can begin to make some changes to lower, lessen, or eliminate that stress. Make sense?
There are resources out there, books to read, classes to attend, shifting paradigms that unveil easy solutions, or share ideas that offer ways to strengthen understanding. It all depends on which one resonates the most with you.
I'm not suggesting you get rid of your teenager, break up your relationship, or quit your job; however, with any of these situations, there is help.
