Astoria Knights FC Announces Partnership Agreement with ULTRAIN Soccer Training Platform

QUEENS, N.Y. - Sept. 30, 2020 - PRLog -- The Astoria Knights Football Club is pleased to announce its partnership with ULTRAIN soccer training platform.

The club, based in Queens, NY, now offers the members of its New York Knights Youth Academy the opportunity to take part in private training sessions featuring professional players from New York Red Bulls (MLS) and New York City FC (MLS), among others.

Astoria Knights FC General Manager Darnell Olivere said, "What the mind believes the body achieves. On that principle we believe that putting players into a professional mindset will help them play at higher levels. This partnership is essential to developing youth players into professional players."

In what is being hailed as "The NY Series", the first ULTRAIN session for the New York Knights Youth Academy members will feature NY Red Bulls defender Kyle Duncan on Oct. 8, followed by a session with New York City FC forward Ismael Tajouri on Oct. 15, another with NYCFC's defender Sebastien Ibeagha on Oct. 22 and ending with U.S. Men's National Team and former NYCFC midfielder Mix Diskerud on Oct. 29.

"Being able to know what it takes to be a professional athlete is going to encourage the young athletes to take training more seriously and help them focus on their inner potential in order to grow it exponentially. This is the kind of mental edge I wish I had when I was chasing my dream to play on the big stage. It takes the guess work out of it," Olivere said.

Astoria Knights FC's motto: "As One!" reflects the pride the club takes in putting players first and creating a family atmosphere that brings people together to manifest the next generation of leaders through physical training, mental development and dedicated mentorships.

Astoria Knights FC is a member of the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) and is an active developer of amateur players for domestic and international playing careers. The club joined the UPSL in 2019.

ULTRAIN is a platform that provides online classes that professional soccer players teach 45-minute sessions to young players. Once a week, any young soccer player can join in a class and learn from an actual pro.
