The Latest Must-Haves For Homeowners and Buyers Alike
By: Rick Giese RE/MAX First
As a result, the demand for larger homes and list of essential features has shifted too.
To make these wants a reality, a large wave of homeowners are purchasing renovation tools to make their space more enjoyable and also more appealing should they decide to sell.
Also, many would-be buyers are holding out for these current must-have features, even where inventory remains low.
Here are some key takeaways I wanted to share with you:
As part of avoiding large crowds, many people have pursued a more suburban style of living rather than stay in crowded cities. However, there is an additional trend in a lot of cases of wanting to stay within delivery range of favorite restaurants.
Not surprisingly, demand for bigger homes has risen to make way for home offices or makeshift learning areas due to the rise in remote work and schooling.
In fact, for couples or those with children, having TWO offices (or an adequate area within the house) for work and learning is an absolute requirement.
Ample yard space may become more of a necessity, too. For residential spaces that can't accommodate extra space for working, learning, and fitness activities, some folks have taken to setting up space in their backyard.
As more parks and other forms of recreation remain closed, swimming pools are another hot seller (especially for buyers with kids). Pool installers are becoming booked solid
