Follow on Google News | Government To Conduct Offline Exams For Final Year Students | Rajasthan HeadlinesRajasthan government has decided to conduct final year exams in offline mode in the state as per UGC Guidelines.
By: National Duniya CM has also announced that universities shall conduct special exams for those who may not appear at the exams due to the circumstances of the COVID-19. Senior ministers and officials were present in the meeting including Bhanwar Singh Bhati, Minister for Higher Education (Independent Charge) along with Dr. Subhash Garg, Minister of Technical Education (independent charge) and Shuchi Sharma, IAS, Secretary, Higher & Technical Education. The University of Rajasthan is all set to conduct examinations for final year students from 18th September 2020. The government has instructed to conduct exams within 1.30 to 2 hrs and there shall be no boundation to attempt questions from each section. More than 6 lacs students will appear in the final year exams of the university. Although the university has not released any exam schedule till now, the government has planned to release the complete guidelines as soon as possible. Although student unions are not satisfied with the decision saying that this may risk the lives of lacs of students by calling them to the exams centres when there are thousands of cases coming everyday in the state of Rajasthan alone.
