Sept. 17, 2020 - PRLog -- Author Sam Ford's Spirit Sword is welcoming young writers to connect with him during his first-ever free virtual event. On October 2nd, 2020 at 11am PST, Ford will host a one-hour virtual event to discuss his writing process and to also inspire aspiring young writers. Sam Ford's debut book, Spirit Sword, has been reviewed by a  New York Times best-selling author and is currently available on Amazon, Smashwords and for order through Barnes & Noble bookstores.

"Space is limited to afford everyone who attends time to listen to Sam Ford talk about his process, as well as to answer questions from young fans. All are invited but the event is aimed at his young adult audience and to discuss the writing process as much as the popular adventure book, which also offers tremendous life lessons," said Tanya Vece, media manager for Spirit Sword.

Spirit Sword was composed to entertain but to bring life lessons to the forefront. Its 13-year-old protagonist is named Cale Tannor whose parents are tragically killed. With fate by his side, Tannor comes into contact with Sword- the last of a race of sentient weapons. And, in an interesting twist, the sword talks!

"The event will take place on Zoom. To RSVP, simply visit and click on the Virtual Events' tab to register. This event is limited to twenty-five people and is on a first-come, first-serve basis in relation to RSVPS," finished Vece.

Galley copies of Spirit Sword are available for review by requesting qualified members of the press. Interviews with Sam Ford about the book and the challenges new authors are facing in today's literary climate are also available upon qualified request.
