-- After the process of construction of Ram Mandir begins, the Uttar Pradesh government led by CM Yogi Adityanath is planning to make Ayodhya a centric attraction of tourism in years to come. They are planning to empower the infrastructural needs of the city and introducing transformative initiatives to speed up the branding of tourism in Ayodhya. The government is working collaboratively with the Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust in speeding up the construction of a grand Ram Temple in the city.
Alongside the construction of the temple, the chief minister is also taking an immense interest in making Ayodhya a global center of tourism. He has asked his officials to ensure speedy development of the city along with a globalized publicity campaign to engage more tourists from different parts of the world. He added that the development should resemble the iconic, ancient, and cultural identity of the city. The government is planning to beautify all the ghats and empower the transportation system in the region with several bus stations and broadened highways. Food courts and attractive tourist facilities are among the government's plans to make Ayodhya a significant and popular choice of tourists in Uttar Pradesh.
CM is monitoring projects on a personal level and has said that the city should have a streamlined drainage system and multi-level parking too. He warned the officials of indulging the best quality of work and content in the process of developing Ayodhya. No compromise with quality would be acceptable, CM told the officials. The government has acquired 160 acres of land and is seeking to obtain 250 acres more, for establishing an airport in Ayodhya. Also, the government has planned to construct a grand statue of Lord Ram, to become possibly the world's largest.
