Tallahassee Nurseries Announces Free Community Involvement Fundraiser for Big Bend Hospice

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Sept. 10, 2020 - PRLog -- Every year in May, Big Bend Hospice (https://bigbendhospice.org) holds one of their annual fundraisers at Tallahassee Nurseries. The Spring Fling event provides a wonderful community organization an opportunity to raise funds, enjoy each others' company and raise awareness about their efforts.

When COVID-19 shutdowns began, it was an early decision to cancel the 2020 event. In 2019, this event raised over $267,000 for the unfunded programs of Big Bend Hospice for patients and families.

Now, Tallahassee Nurseries is offering a $5 donation for each post by any member of the community when they use the hashtag #TNLovesHospice on Facebook and/or Instagram. Along with the hashtag, the picture should contain a picture of a plant or something plant related. The goal is to fill social feeds with beautiful plants to help raise awareness of Big Bend Hospice and provide a little relief from the current political climate.

Tallahassee Nurseries' (https://www.tallahasseenurseries.com) community fundraiser runs through September 24th and will announce the raised funds a few days after the campaign ends. They allow 1 post per day per social media platform.
