Carrington College Spokane Announces New Campus Director

 
SPOKANE, Wash. - Sept. 9, 2020 - PRLog -- Carrington College in Spokane is pleased to announce that Chuck Ericson has been appointed to serve as the new Campus Director. The campus offers a variety of hands-on programs that prepare students for careers in the medical, dental and veterinary fields.

Ericson brings to the position more than 23 years of experience in post-secondary education. He served in a variety of roles including Director of Admissions, Career Services, and in the classroom as a General Education Instructor. Previously he was the President and CEO of Eagle Gate College Group, where he helped transform them into one of the largest Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs in Utah.

"This is an exciting time for the Carrington College Spokane campus, and I am honored to serve as the new Campus Director," said Ericson. "My focus will be to ensure staff and faculty have all the resources necessary so they can help students find success in pursuing their educational goals. I look forward to improving student success rates and helping our graduates meet the needs of local employers."

With a successful record of building collaborative cross-organizational leadership teams, Ericson will focus on the larger operational perspective while still concentrating on the needs of students, faculty and staff. He will also concentrate on supporting the local communities served by Carrington College as they benefit from its focus on outcome-based learning. He will remain committed to ensuring faculty and staff help students develop specific vocational knowledge and skills, as well as achieving the core student learning outcomes in information management, technical literacy and professional development.

Prior to beginning his career in post-secondary education, Ericson worked as an individual and group therapist for adults and adolescents with severe emotional disturbances and chronic mental illness. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and a Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
