By: Henry Turner Jr.'s Museum Foundation The Virtual Blues Camp is hosted by musician and entrepreneur Henry Turner, Jr. Featured guests include Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor band members bassist Larry "LZ" Dillon, drummer Jim Masters, background vocalists Molly Milne and Cindy Efferson, keyboardist Irwin "Maestro" Foster and saxophonist Andrew Bernard. Additional guests include spoken word artist Kelton 'Nspire Harper with entertainment business executives Eric Cager, co-founder of the Cutting Edge Music Business Conference, publicist Marcia Groff, journalist Hedi Butler and film producer Michele Barnes of Rebirth Film Shield Productions. Musician, vocalist, guitar player, composer, producer and promoter Henry Turner Jr., and his band, & Flavor, are an integral part of the Louisiana Music scene. They are well known for developing an intricate and syncopated style of music that is referred to as – Louisiana Blues, Soul, Funk and Reggae. Accomplishments and accolades include being named an official Music Ambassador by the Louisiana Office of Tourism in 2014 for an appearance in Southern California. Having October 28, 2015 and October 28, 2017 proclaimed Henry Turner Jr. Day in Baton Rouge. Receiving a an Ambassador Award from the Slim Harpo Music Awards in 2018 and in 2019 the Lieutenant Governor's Office named him an Honorary Louisiana Ambassador in part for writing "The Baton Rouge Theme Song." Henry Turner, Jr. & Flavor have released twenty singles and eleven CD's. Their current is entitled "Now" and features some songs from his current documentary "Music Dreams…An American Story." In addition to running Henry Turner, Jr.'s Listening Room and the Museum Foundation, he is also the founder of the Baton Rouge Mardi Gras Festival, Soul Food Festival and Henry Turner, Jr. Day.
