, the award-winning online magazine by and for youth to explore life's big questions, is excited to launch its issue on Strength and Influence. Starting today, 11-to-17-year-
olds around the world will explore ideas including power, resilience, and leadership.
Each issue of KidSpirit revolves around a Big Question posed by the all-youth Editorial Board. This season, the editors ask, "How do we know what influence is good for us?" In her response, a young editor from New York City dives into the many forces shaping teens' lives.
Other pieces released today include a young writer's exploration of propaganda, a student's reflection on what he learned from a simple haircut, an editor's piece on how his multi-religious upbringing has nurtured his inner strength, an author's article on the joy of sharing her passion for reading, and a review of the classic novel Lord of the Flies
Throughout the season, KidSpirit will continue to publish writing, poetry, artwork, and video by youth on this issue's theme. In Features, one editor will analyze the role of young people in activism. Awesome Moments pieces will delve into transformative experiences, while the Interfaith Connections department will feature perspectives of teens from different faith traditions. The Helping Hands section will explore the life-changing impact of serving others, and, in Media, a young author will share her thoughts on the newest film adaptation of Little Women
