VILNIUS, Lithuania - Sept. 4, 2020 - PRLog -- After a highly uncertain and highly changeable year, Justinas Stanislovaitis presents the album of stylized singing poetry "Condo Stories". A dreamy, profound, ironic but optimistic album in which the texts of the famous poets Ilzė Butkutė and Tadas Žvirinskis were turned into the songs.
"Although this year raises very ambiguous feelings and has attracted a great deal of uncertainty. Together with the band we planned to visit many foreign countries, as well as many private concerts in Lithuania were cancelled, but this album makes all our music work meaningful "says Justinas Stanislovaitis. "Thanks to Ilzė Butkutė, I started a whole new musical chapter, and when I discovered the poems of Tadas Žvirinskis, I decided that it must become an album." Fourteen songs tell a variety of life-inspired and mundane stories that, in their own way, are magical. From a kind of romantic life in an apartment building to a song about war or even a dreamy descent into Ithaca.
"I think really anyone can discover themselves and relate to this album. Both a young artist or a scientist who tramps the school bench, dreaming of changing the world, both a successful businessman and a frustrated student, housewives, catwalk lady or a senior who has seen everything," says Justin Stanislovaitis.
