The Executive Director of UHR, Cristian Vargas, said: "These predators target and recruit at-risk victims mainly using social media, and exploit their vulnerability to get them hooked on drugs. I abhor the fact that it's happening right here in Clearwater, in our own backyard. I strongly urge all Clearwater residents and community leaders to take this problem to heart and learn more about how to be a part of the solution." Their staff have delivered dozens of seminars and workshops, in partnership with various anti-human trafficking organizations, to teach people what to look out for and how they can get involved in the fight against trafficking.
