SchoolStatus Prepares to Answer K12 Communication Needs with New Hires
The K12 data and communications software company has welcomed three new specialists to its sales team.
"Parents and educators need to come together now more than ever," stated SVP of Sales and Marketing Scott Braynard. "We are excited to continue to serve school districts with tools that give parents and educators a seat at the same table."
New SchoolStatus Team Members:
Matt Bishop, Sales Development Representative
Originally from the Bay Area in Northern California and a competitive swimmer, Matt made his way to Atlanta as a swim coach for highly competitive teams in the city. "I'm super excited to make the move from a swim coach to the ed-tech industry," he shares, "I know how important it is for parents to know what's going on with their children and SchoolStatus is the best solution out there. I'm looking forward to contributing to such an incredible mission."
Beth Curington, Client Executive
"I'm pleased that my passion for education has brought me to SchoolStatus,"
Jennifer Tongel, Client Executive
Jennifer brings over 13 years of K12 experience to her role at SchoolStatus. Originally from Richmond, VA, she will be building relationships throughout the southeast region. "I am passionate about the power of parent engagement and so excited to join SchoolStatus,"
The new team members bring both years of experience as well as fresh perspectives into the SchoolStatus sales and marketing strategy—a smart addition as school districts face challenges like never before. "Education has fundamentally shifted more in the last few months than the previous 100 years," said Founder and CEO Russ Davis. "Educators need to prepare for the unexpected. That type of preparation is built on a foundation of relationships. Our growth is a result of the evolving needs of educators, and we are excited to welcome new team members to join our mission."
