What have hotels done to manage such a low Covid footprint?
Hotels are required to obtain government certifications. Measures include safe dining standards, greater cleaning and disinfecting, yes, your luggage will get a once-over before it goes to your room, safe distancing on the beach, pool deck, spas as well as all public areas. Advice for low Covid travel is to take direct flights to your destination and minimize time at large airports. That's why Dallas, Houston, Charlotte and Miami make great staring points to Cozumel. Once on the plane, the Covid footprint is very low again thanks to the plane's air filtration system assuming everyone is wearing a mask.
