ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Sept. 2, 2020 - PRLog -- Feature Florida Partnerships is pleased to announce that it has received its first grant in support of the FFP effort to revitalize Florida indigenous filmmaking. Supplied by the Storey Family Fund of the Cleveland Foundation, one of the largest community foundations in the United States, these funds will enable FFP to launch a program called "Create it Here!" that is designed to assist aspiring Florida filmmakers with script development and budgeting for projects based in the Sunshine State.

"We now have the resources to move forward with the 'Create it Here!' program, our first step in building a support network for Florida's content creators," says FFP executive director Chris Ranung. "We plan to release information about this program next week and look forward to a positive response from our industry."

Feature Florida Partnerships is a non-profit corporation that advocates for independent Florida feature film and episodic television production. For information about contributing time, skill, or capital, contact Chris Ranung at chrisranung@gmail.com. Interested parties are also invited to support FFP by joining the "Keep it Here!" campaign.
