Life-saving blood donations needed in Indiana in September

INDIANAPOLIS - Aug. 30, 2020 - PRLog -- Versiti Blood Center of Indiana is encouraging Hoosiers to make an appointment in September to donate life-saving blood. Local drives are being held this month in many cities and towns, including Fishers, Veedersburg, Mooresville, Carmel, Muncie, Indianapolis, Franklin, Fairmount, Dugger and Pittsboro.

All blood types are now needed, especially O-negative blood, which is the universal blood type given to patients in emergency situations and those undergoing surgery. Here are Versiti community blood drives scheduled this month in communities across Indiana:
