NEW YORK - Aug. 21, 2020 - PRLog -- What is it really like to experience chemotherapy?

In time for Breast Cancer Awareness month this October, a new limited series podcast will illuminate the journey inside chemotherapy through the stories of a voice-over actor and mom diagnosed with breast cancer.

"Chemo Stories: One woman's search for strength, grace and trust," created by NYC transplant and Michigan native Tina Zaremba, takes listeners inside the actor's experience overcoming cancer while learning important lessons about identity and letting go of the "Supermom" ideal of having and doing it all.

In the 14-episode podcast series, Zaremba walks listeners through every part of her chemo story as she strives to normalize the breast cancer experience, sharing her fears, coping strategies, failures, and wins along the way. Her podcast aims to demystify an experience usually shrouded in mystery, telling the real chemo story as she undergoes the fight of a lifetime: recalibrating a mindset mired in the fear of a new diagnosis.

"I've been cancer free since July of 2019, but the lessons I've learned still guide me every day," Zaremba said. "Most importantly, cancer taught me how to enjoy the small, day-to-day moments instead of fixating on distant and abstract goals. I'm excited to share my cancer discoveries with listeners as we raise awareness of the fight against breast cancer this month."

With an endearing wit, refreshing bluntness, and a deep desire to look inside of herself, Zaremba offers a rare glimpse into a woman's inner monologue throughout the process of fighting cancer.
Her heartbreakingly honest, up-close-and-personal account of a woman's battle with breast cancer reveals a woman's efforts to move through the experience with strength and trust.

"Anyone curious about the chemo experience is invited to go along for the ride as I seek answers to my questions," Zaremba said. "By telling my story, I hope to normalize the breast cancer experience while sharing my fears, coping strategies, failures, and wins along the way."

Starting October 1, all episodes will be available for streaming on the Chemo Stories website at http://www.chemostories.com as well as on all major podcast platforms.
