JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Aug. 20, 2020 - PRLog -- Nahshon Nicks has been a consistent change agent in the community, creating programs and resources to help local families in Jacksonville. With the focus currently on preparing our children for success and safety in the new school year, Nicks is focusing his upcoming conference on boys aged 12 and up. "We have to be the support system for the children in our community, especially our young men," said Nicks. "With crime on the rise, I think it is important to set the expectation for this next school year".

The conference will feature topics such as Life, Learning and Leadership. Notable speakers include Duval County School District 4 Representative Darryl Willie as well as Siottis Jackson, Chief Program and Operating Officer of the First Coast Leadership Foundation. While the conference typically takes place in person, this edition will debut virtually on zoom and streamed live on Facebook. " This new virtual format will allow us to maintain social distance guidelines while still creating a connection with the attendees", said Nicks.

The Empowerment Conference will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11 am. Registration can be found at http://www.nahshonnicks.com/empowerment-conference--aug-2.... For additional information or press related inquiries, contact Tabitha Higgs at Tabitha@brightconceptsmg.com
