Spruill Center for the Arts to implement air purification system
When Spruill reopened their doors on June 22, safety for staff, instructors and students was of the utmost concern. New protocols, such as disinfecting classrooms after each use, cleaning common touch areas and restrooms throughout the day, requiring masks be worn, and reducing classroom sizes to allow for social distancing were implemented. The addition of the filtration system is just one more step Spruill is taking to ensure a safe and clean environment.
After a successful summer camp that safely taught more than 250 children, the Spruill Center has further refined its cleaning and safety protocols and have been closely monitoring and enforcing mask and social distancing requirements.
"We are committed to providing a safe space for our staff and students," said Spruill CEO, Alan Mothner. "Implementing the air purification system is an added level of safety we felt was necessary."
