Edge-pushing dubstep record label announces relaunch, new EDM single

MIAMI - Aug. 13, 2020 - PRLog -- A subversive indie dubstep label with a flair for making waves has announced a relaunch along with the release of a long-awaited new single from a rising EDM duo.

WaterShip Recs, formerly WaterShip, was founded by EDM artist Whiskers. The indie record label relaunched this month as they prepare to release of  Big N Slim's new single "Drop the Hammer," an upbeat dubstep release featuring epic bass drops.

"WaterShip Rec's presents a huge, in-your-face sound with wubs and growls that will shake your foundation to its core," said Whiskers, the founder of WaterShip Recs. "We are more than pleased to present Big N Slim's release during these challenging times in our industry. We want to provide the people with an outlet to reconnect with what they long for: Incredible music experiences."

In advance of his label's pending song release, Whiskers tweaked the name of his growing dubstep label, which the EDM artist describes as "the AI system of his spacecraft that he crash landed on Earth and is now merging his tech with the general public to further understand the human mind. We are the wave, we are the current, we are WaterShip."

The growing record label has released music from artists including Whiskers himself as well as Blaqout, Rettchit, Jakpot, Lazyflex, Asteroid Afterparty, Spaceghost, Fugitives, and DJ Blown. The label has hosted a number of popular music events, including performances at Miami Music Week.

Hailing from Miami, Big N Slim are a duo who have performed numerous shows and have garnered support from some of the biggest names in the industry, including Excision and Figure.

"There is no way to escape their raw talent and undeniable presence," Whiskers said.
