Online Booking is Unsung Hero Assisting Summer Visitors, Says Moab Adventure Center

MOAB, Utah - Aug. 12, 2020 - PRLog -- Online booking is the unsung hero of this pandemic-weary, contact-concerned summer. Moab Adventure Center, the pulse point for all things adventure related in this world-renowned playground of red rock, reports online bookings are up significantly over the same period in 2019.

"More people are booking their Moab day trip activities online, avoiding person-to-person contact, closer to the day of departure than ever before," said Cort Wright, Moab Adventure Center Manager.

During one week in June, 64 percent of bookings came in online compared to 57 percent the same week last year. Pointing to a strong recovery, overall June sales were up 27 percent over 2019 which was also a record year. Trip bookings in July also showed similar trends.

With COVID-related concerns on their minds, Wright noted that visitors are planning excursions to Moab closer to their desired arrival date. However, many bookings from overseas destinations have been postponed from this summer to next year.
