NFL Free Agent John Williams is Taking The COVID Crisis in His Stride

HOUSTON - Aug. 11, 2020 - PRLog -- The world of professional sports has seen a major upheaval in the wake of the coronavirus.  The daily news will report on the obvious lack of fan participation at the newly resumed game schedules.   You will hear very little of the impact on the day to day adjustments of the free agents competing to make it to the next level.  Free agents like Black Diamond client John Williams are mixed up in the whirlwind of change and doing all they can to make the most of the unfortunate situation.

John Williams is a Texas native and recent graduate from the University of the Incarnate Word.  He, like so many others, entered the ranks of free agents, vying for the opportunity to play professional football shortly before the coronavirus crisis.  The global pandemic has forced him to make some major adjustments to his training and tryout schedules.  The necessary changes encouraged creativity when designing his home gym to replace his favored workout facility when it closed.  It gave him even greater access to do what he loves most, bodybuilding and training.

Throughout the pandemic, John has remained focused on his primary goal of playing professional football.  The social unrest in recent weeks did give him pause.  He understands that the stress of the pandemic has created quick tempers.  He is also a supporter of law and order but fervently wishes to see retraining of the police when dealing with civilians that would further remove any tragic loss of life.

The young Mr. Williams has always loved the game of football and currently serves as a nose guard.  Growing up, his favorite team was the Baltimore Ravens.  His biggest fan and role model has been and always will be his mom who raised him single-handedly.  His fondest memory of the game was to win the college conference championship in the final game of his senior year.  "To bring that win home was a dream come true for both of us," said John.

The game of football will remain, no matter which way the wind may blow.   This game allows John to do what he loves and the opportunity to get paid to do it.  This game has given him an avenue to build a career both on and off the field.  When it comes time to hang up the cleats for good, he intends to own his gym.  The business plan is coming together, but until that day comes, John will continue his journey to one day play in the NFL.
