TUCSON, Ariz. - Aug. 11, 2020 - PRLog -- On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, starting at 9:30 a.m., Zach Yentzer of 1030 KVOI AM Radio's "Tipping Point" will host his fifth in a series of interviews dedicated to the ecosystem of doers in southern Arizona building up neighborhoods incrementally with small buildings. Yentzer's August 12 guest is Monte Anderson, founder and senior faculty member of the Incremental Development Alliance.

Anderson and Yentzer will talk about the value to southern Arizona communities when the locals are empowered by owning both commercial and residential real estate, not only for their home or business, but also spaces to rent. Building middle class wealth and creating "legendary" entrepreneurs is a personal passion for him. In addition, Anderson will discuss the value of committing to your community or neighborhood for the rest of your life. He says anyone can do this work if they are willing to follow the steps of incremental development.

Anderson is the President of Options Real Estate a multi-service real estate company specializing in creating sustainable neighborhoods in southern Dallas and northern Ellis counties in Texas. Anderson began his real estate career in 1984 and since that time has concentrated solely on improving the living and working environments in these communities where he was born and raised. Anderson is an outspoken and frequently recognized advocate for policies and practice to serve urban neighborhoods. He currently focuses his development practice in three areas in North Texas: the southern neighborhoods of the city of Dallas, the first ring suburb of Duncanville and exurban town of Midlothian.

The Tucson Small Scale Development Coalition and the Incremental Development Alliance are organizing two free two-hour lectures on September 2-3, 2020 (led by Anderson) and a full-day a workshop on October 6, 2020 to train disparate professions on how to become developers of small buildings and neighborhood-friendly improvements as an alternative to large corporate models that otherwise reinforce the negative perceptions of real estate development.
