FLX Offers to Pay Simon Cowell's Medical Bills after E-Bike Accident

SAN DIEGO - Aug. 13, 2020 - PRLog -- FLX Bike, the fastest-growing E-Bike company on the planet, has reached out to "America's Got Talent" judge and entertainment executive Simon Cowell with an offer to pay Cowell's medical bills in exchange for an alliance to act as FLX's Safety Czar.

According to sources, Cowell underwent a five-hour surgery that included several fusions and placing a metal rod in his back. As sales continue to skyrocket for FLX during the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Cowell's accident serves as a good safety reminder to e-bike customers. Cowell urges fans via his Twitter account to, "read the manual BEFORE you ride your bike for the first time!"

FLX Bike founders Rob Rast and UK-based Pete Leaviss heard the news and wanted to help — in addition to paying Cowell's bills and the appointment as a Safety spokesperson, FLX Bike will provide Cowell a new white Armani T-Shirt emblazoned with an FLX logo for his next riding adventure.

FLX Bike is a San Diego-based e-bike company. FLX is the fastest-growing E-Bike Company on the planet. The business has exploded during the pandemic — in part with the stunning success of its Babymaker E-Bike Campaign on Indiegogo which has raised a record-setting $13.3 million USD to date!

"Customer safety and the use of proper safety equipment is a priority," stated Founder Rob Rast. To reinforce the point — all FLX e-bike manuals include in-depth information regarding components, assembly, technical specs, maintenance, and useful tips.

Each manual also includes strong recommendations to:
  • Familiarize yourself with local e-bike laws.
  • Familiarize yourself with the components, technical specs, and geometry of your model prior to your first ride.
  • Use pads and a helmet at all times when operating your bike.
  • Use proper cycling hand signals and be cautious when riding at all times.
  • Wear bright clothing, and use head and tail lights at night to increase visibility.

All FLX e-bike models are equipped with powerful motors to assist riders on tough terrains, such as steep hills. These motors allow e-bikes to reach speeds up to 28 MPH.
