Industry Veteran Owned Non Profit Offers New Roadmap For Black Owned Businesss

The Black Spirit Group, a non-profit founded by African American entertainment industry veterans has developed a sophisticated network of mentors, partners and programs to empower Black entrepreneurs to succeed. In light of the recent deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery Fortune 500 Companies are making pledges to the Black community at large and to the Black business community. Black Spirit Group has turnkey initiatives that will provide novel approaches with measurable results that will garner economic opportunities for the Black community, business growth and generational wealth.
Founding partner Jerry Roebuck is no stranger to providing a channel for African American entrepreneurs to reach their markets and achieve business success. The innovator and creator of the "Black Expo," one of America's largest business and cultural events that spurred the growth of over 5000 Black business, believes it is of utmost importance for Black Spirit Group members to seek out and obtain resources to develop and start a business.
"We focus on developing among our members critical ideas, values, habits and skills necessary to successfully navigate the complex and interconnected components of entrepreneurship generally and specific to their industry," Roebuck says, "we believe that we truly can create a generation of black entrepreneurs well groomed to start their businesses while also learning skills to create continued success and build a stronger Black community."
