Trade with Africa® Business Summit Advances U.S. trade with Africa
Theme: Trade & Investment Opportunities in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Retail and Infrastructure Development
By: Nazaru LLC.
In 2000, the United States established the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) to support U.S. trade with Africa. Although some level of success has been accomplished, U.S. still engages at less than 2% of total global trade with Sub-Saharan Africa. On the U.S. side there are several constraints including lack of awareness, supporting business data, and misconception and information gap. On the African side there is lack of information related to available business partnerships and opportunities for African businesses as well as education on ways to secure investments needed to build the level of capacity required to meet U.S. standards. The Trade with Africa Business Summit provides an effective platform to strengthen linkages by bringing together global stakeholders and supporting service providers to advance trade talks.
"Trade with Africa® is about pursuing mutually beneficial trade opportunities that advances your goals and Africa's goals. The Trade with Africa Business Summit provides attendees the opportunity to access exclusive market insights, explore commercial opportunities with Africa as well as network on our virtual trade platform: www.nazaru.trade. While the world is laser focused on the U.S. - China trade war, something equally significant that will reshape the global landscape for the next 30 to 50 years is emerging in Africa. With the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) entering into force, Africa has created the world's largest trade bloc and there is now a repositioning of the continent, which creates unique and dynamic commercial opportunities. I invite you to register and join us for this one of a kind events just a few days away." Toyin Umesiri, CEO Nazaru LLC. & Founder Trade with Africa Business Summit
