Daniel Shepherd is a self-taught Phoenix based artist in who is creating fascinating abstract paintings, vintage collages and is a gifted musician. Shepherd creates "Vintage Collages" reconfiguring imagery and subjects in interesting and often unusual ways while still retaining their elegance and natural beauty, organic in style while working with entirely repurposed materials. He also creates minimalist abstract paintings utilizing acrylic paint on repurposed hand distressed wood with a painting technique he describes as "Ambient Painting" working with bright and saturated colors often colliding with pastels or minimal abstractions. His work is included in private collections around the world, exhibiting extensively throughout Arizona and California. His work is currently on display and represented by Royse Contemporary in Scottsdale, Arizona.
