Professional Interactive Webinar Series: Regional Planning & Retrofitting Suburbia

WASHINGTON - July 28, 2020 - PRLog -- This webinar, taking place on Wednesday July 29, 2020, 1pm EDT, will cover how to redesign suburbs so that they can better absorb growth in a compact manner and avoid increasing sprawl to preserve our farmland, wilderness and forested areas. Authority on sustainable urban development and leading urbanist, Ellen Dunham-Jones is the Director of the Georgia Tech School of Architecture. Ellen is co-author with June Williamson of Retrofitting Suburbia: Urban Design Solutions for Redesigning Suburbs, (Wiley, 2009, 2011). Its documentation of successful retrofits of aging big box stores, malls, and office parks into healthier and more sustainable places received a PROSE award as the best architecture and urban planning book of 2009 and has been featured in The New York Times, Time Magazine, Harvard Business Review, NPR, PBS, TED and other prominent venues.

CEO and Managing Partner of Nolan Reynolds International, Brent Reynolds is primarily responsible for the firm's strategic growth and development activities within the United States and throughout Latin America.
