Daily Herald Business Ledger C-Suite Award Winner - Mason Awtry
By: Rightsize Facility
Since founding Rightsize Facility in 2004, Mason Awtry has orchestrated a successful transformation from office furniture liquidator to a prominent national turnkey provider of office interiors and facility services. Rightsize Facility has spent the last few months supporting, listening and learning how to help those in the current and future workplace - IE those working and learning from home as well as in healthcare. In this unprecedented time, Rightsize Facility has made the decision to forgo their typical B2B business model and additionally offer companies the opportunity to purchase voucher blocks that allow employees the ability to buy home office furniture from an e-commerce site - with residential doorstep delivery included. This ability to adapt and innovate is a hallmark of Awtry's varied career and led the C-Suite judges to notice.
"I would not have an opportunity to earn this type of recognition without the backing of these incredible teams of dedicated professionals I am surrounded by." said Awtry. "I am so very proud of the work we are doing and the opportunity to lead the Wurkwel companies."
The C-Suite Awards honor C-level executives for not just their leadership, but also business and civic contributions made to both their organization and to the suburban Chicago community. All candidates are executives who work in the suburban Chicago region and demonstrate achievement in the areas of advancing the success of their companies, leadership within their industry, and involvement within the community. Awtry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from Bentley College and over his 20 plus years as a serial entrepreneur, he has successfully launched 10 businesses focused on adaptive reuse and sustainability. He is also an active member in his community spearheading monetary and product donations to charitable organizations as an extension of Rightsize's commitment to philanthropy and sustainability.
"We continue to service our projects, our clients and our community with passion, skill and focus." adds Awtry.
