Cruising Down the River, on an Asian Afternoon

BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - July 23, 2020 - PRLog -- Whilst the UK Government is currently sending mixed messages about overnight cruising, Bamboo Travel is delighted to present some daytime river outings that offer a great river experience and may be more enticing than an overnight cruise in the Covid-19 era.

As the daylight starts to fade head down to the riverbank and board a private boat to watch the sunset on the Irrawaddy. As this time of day, you will see groups of children swimming and mothers cleaning clothes or washing pots and pans. You will cruise for around an hour, with a sundowner in hand, as you enjoy one of the simple joys of being close to the Irrawaddy River. Sunset cruises are more prevalent in Bagan but also possible in Mandalay.

Depart Guilin on a leisurely four-hour cruise down the picturesque Li River towards Yangshuo. There is stunning scenery on the way as the boat meanders between the dramatic forested peaks and past bamboo fishing villages. This is one of the most enchanting river journeys in China with great photo opportunities along the way. A simple packed lunch will be provided to eat on-board.
