What Do You Meme® Announces $10,000 COVID Relief Scholarship Winners

NEW YORK - July 22, 2020 - PRLog -- Three winners have been chosen for game company What Do You Meme's inaugural scholarship competition. Rebekah Aran from Salem State University, Jihoon Park from UC Santa Barbara, and Abby Boyd from University of Arizona will each receive an award of $10,000 toward their education expenses.

In April, What Do You Meme announced on Instagram that it was partnering with college scholarship app Scholly to offer a total of $30,000 in scholarship rewards this summer. Applicants were required to submit a joke to Scholly and the top entries were selected from tens of thousands of submissions from students around the country.

The company shared congratulations on the official What Do You Meme Instagram account and noted that another round of scholarships will be open for entries in the near future.

Rebekah Aran recently received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Psychology. In her free time, you can find her on the beach or relaxing with her Yorkie Roxy. Jihoon Park is an incoming college freshman who lives in the Bay Area. He plans to major in economics and accounting at UC Santa Barbara and enjoys playing concert band music, traveling, and playing video games with friends. Abby Boyd is a geology major at the University of Arizona. She loves to hike, bake, and draw and is always either studying, collecting rocks, or trying out a new recipe.
