Charlotte Art League Opens furbabies Exhibit With Pet Parade and Treats for All
By: Charlotte Art League
"We are encouraging people to bring their dogs in their fanciest dress as they take in the art inside and socialize outside while social distancing,"
While Opening Night originally was envisioned to include a pet adoption component, those plans changed. "Due to COVID, many shelters are not allowing their volunteers to do events right now, so we are encouraging folks to visit the links that will be on our website as part of the exhibit to help and learn more about these wonderful organizations,"
Folks also can register and pick up their packets for CLT Art and Sole (https://raceroster.com/
If you miss opening night, don't fear. "Furbabies! CAL Animal House will be here for a month, and we'll be simultaneously doing a virtual exhibit as well," Dukes notes.
