Nature and Mental Health- A Powerful Duo

Getting outside and breathing fresh air can improve both physical and mental health.
WESTMINSTER, Colo. - July 8, 2020 - PRLog -- Mind & Bodhi Therapy of Westminster, CO, exists to help their clients navigate life's most trying situations such as trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and more. Due to COVID-19, Mind & Bodhi transitioned all in-person clients to their teletherapy services, and reduced prices to both new and existing clients, in order to ensure everyone had access to affordable therapy during such a difficult time.

Mind & Bodhi owner JoAnna McTevia (LCSW, LAC) and Joe DeNicholas (MSW) are encouraging their clients more than ever to get outside, breathe fresh air, and take a walk in nature. Getting outside is an incredibly beneficial practice to engage in alone, with friends, or with family, but JoAnna and Joe are now offering outdoor therapy walks as a service to their clients. Clients can now take advantage of "walks and talks in the park" to boost their mental health and physical health simultaneously.

Nature can benefit mental health by reducing feelings of stress and anger, improving mood, improving confidence and self-esteem, etc., and also has also been shown to improve physical health. (mind.org). Rather than simply advising clients to get outside, Mind & Bodhi is offering the "walks and talks in the park" service in order to offer extra support and help.

It is Mind & Bodhi's goal to walk alongside their clients during the many difficult seasons of life. With the added difficulty of COVID-19 taking a toll on mental and physical health, JoAnna and Joe are prioritizing and supporting their client's mind, body, and spiritual health more than ever.

When searching for therapy Denver co, therapy near me, teletherapy, outside therapy, online therapy, or outdoor therapy during this time, Mind & Bodhi will support your mental and physical health, all while prioritizing safety and social distancing.
