On September 26, 2020, NALS...the association for legal professionals, will hold its annual conference virtually to adjust to COVID-19 restrictions across the country. The conference will last one day and provide attendees with education and networking opportunities.
This year's event, the 69th annual conference, will be live from 11:30 AM EDT on Saturday, September 26 until 5:30 PM EDT that evening. The conference will feature speakers from all around the legal field who will cover a variety of topics, including presentations on racial justice and the legal industry and the impact of COVID-19 on the legal support profession. Through these presentations and discussions, attendees will have the opportunity for education from some of the industry's most respected experts and leaders.
Nakia Bradley-Lawson, president of NALS, said, "I am excited for this conference, and I hope this format and price point will be a relief to members who normally make sacrifices to attend the national conference in person. For those who have not been able to attend a national conference, I hope they take this opportunity to network and learn with legal professionals from around the country. I personally believe our national network is one of the greatest benefits of NALS."
Registration for the conference is available to all and is currently open. The price for members is $99, and $199 for non-members. Attendees will hear from each speaker throughout the day and have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions as well as receive supplemental recordings of presentations for an additional fee.
