Healthiby Selects LaTorrie Glover-Brown as a Team Captain

ATLANTA - July 2, 2020 - PRLog -- Healthiby is an innovative Texas-based start-up that rewards people for achieving better health outcomes. The start-up recently selected its first Healthiby Team Captain, LaTorrie Glover-Brown to promote its upcoming 3-month program and engage prospective new members.

LaTorrie lives in the Atlanta, GA area and is a passionate advocate for preventive health and strong supporter of health-minded communities.

LaTorrie was initially attracted to Healthiby because of its unique focus on helping people live with chronic conditions.  Following the passing of her Mom and all of her Mom's siblings to diabetes, obesity and heart attacks she became fearful as she did not want to get caught in the genetic medical history.

"I thought I was healthy, but was shocked by my diagnosis. I fell into depression with the sickness and had a sad moment feeling sorry for myself  " says LaTorrie Glover-Brown. "It was a long tough road filled with emotion.  I realized my strength and took back control of my body."

Being a little bit of a rebel, LaTorrie said "if you say I can't do something, then I am going to try to prove you wrong."  Someone might say "so you have diabetes and I would say oh no I don't!"

She worked hard to reverse the diabetes and continues to work hard to keep it reversed.  LaTorrie has become an advocate about sharing the lessons that she learned regarding nutrition and lifestyle changes ultimately reversing her chronic disease. She is passionate about helping others.  She wants others to make changes in order to live a more healthy and fulfilling life.

LaTorrie wants her friends, family and others to benefit from the genuinely encouraging and supportive community she has found in Healthiby's Facebook group, Healthiby LIVE (https://www.facebook.com/groups/healthibylive/).  She believes most adults in their 40's, 50's and 60's could benefit from either the Facebook group or Healthiby's full program, starting in July.
