NFASA Brings Launch Pad to Jiangbei New Area

NANJING, China - June 30, 2020 - PRLog -- The Nanjing International Industry and Finance Centre (Launch Pad) opening ceremony was held in its dedicated facility in the Qinglong Green Belt of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area.

Chen Chanmei, Member of the Party Working Committee & Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area, was in attendance to deliver a congratulatory speech. Among the many VIP guests were Zhang Zhichao, Director of the Nanjing Municipal Government Foreign Affairs Office; Cao Wentang, Chairman of the Board  of Nanjing Foreign Affairs Service Association (NFASA), Rosemary Hu, Vice Chair of AmCham Shanghai Nanjing Center Advisory Council; and Carlo D'Andrea, Managing Partner of D'Andrea & Partners Legal Counsel.

Representatives of NFASA member units were also in attendance, together with those from the European Chamber of Commerce in China, China-Britain Business Council, Netherlands Business Support Office, Warren Buffett Annual Meeting US-China Investment Forum and the Australia-Asia Executive Center.

They were joined by representatives of foreign enterprises, many of which had brought along their spouses and children to enjoy the adjacent skate park and other entertainment on offer.

During the opening ceremony,  NFASA signed a cooperation agreement on the settlement of Launch Pad, while within were also settled the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai Nanjing Centre Jiangbei Office, the Australia-Asia Executive Center and the Warren Buffett Annual Meeting US-China Investment Forum.

Launch Pad is an industry and finance cooperation platform built by NFASA. From the five aspects of building a service platform, carrying out project recruitment, training international talent, holding international activities and expanding friendly exchanges, Launch Pad integrates the resources of global friends to serve the international development of Jiangbei New Area.

Chen Chanmei said that Launch Pad is a vivid example of deepening the cooperation in industry and finance in Jiangbei New Area.

Guests also visited the Jiangbei New Area Planning Exhibition Hall and carefully listened to the development process, planning and construction of the new area, coming to an understanding of its urban construction, industrial investment, scientific and technological innovation, together with the asset operation and management of Jiangbei New Area.
