Art of the Days
The Barebrush July calendar begins with a striking photograph. Blue Moon Silhouette is by Peter Wong King, Barebrush Featured Artist in Cochiti Lake, NM. The artist writes, "Hot light replaced by a previous blue moon image."
July features 31 artworks: fine art nudes, portraits, landscapes, and more. Of timely note is a nude-in-landscape, Paso a Paso, by Tony Lee of Panama (July 4th).
"Con las cuatro extremidades pegadas a la tierra quizas podamos sentirnos mas seguros en estos tiempos indescriptibles."
With all four limbs glued to the ground perhaps we can feel more secure in these indescribable times.
Another striking photograph is Braxton - Stripes by Dan Simoneau, ISP. Two works show off the range of color pencils as a fine art medium. CHERRY BLOSSOMS STUY TOWN 1 2020 04 is by Jon Rettich of NYC. Sarah, Staring is by Peter Millward of Stamford, CT.
