Religious leaders urge "Live Nation" night-clubs remove Hindu-Buddhist-Jain statues & apologize

Sulekh C. Jain stressed that pratimas (statues) of Lord Mahavira and Lord Parshvanatha belonged in temples for veneration and not to be misused or mishandled by the patrons of night-clubs. He suggested that the Live Nation Entertainment could donate these to Jain temples in USA and the Jain community would gladly pay for their transportation.
Hinduism was the oldest and third largest religion of the world with about 1.1 billion followers and a rich philosophical thought and it should not be taken frivolously. Symbols of any faith, larger or smaller, should not be mishandled, Zed noted.
