CHARLESTON, S.C. & GREENVILLE, S.C. & COLUMBIA, S.C. - June 24, 2020 - PRLog -- Sparked by the division in our country, the campaign, Operation Restoration, led by Independent Presidential Candidate and native Charlestonian Jade Simmons, is set to blaze a historic trail. South Carolina is 1 out of the 8 states for which Simmons and her team are gathering petitions to get her on the ballot in November. Her goal is to ensure that every American has the right to more options and does not have to choose between the lesser of two evils.

Earlier this year, Charleston native and 2020 Independent Presidential Candidate Jade Simmons launched an unexpected and wholly independent run for President of the United States with her campaign Operation Restoration 2020. Simmons returns to Charleston, Columbia, and Greenville in July for a series of "Meet the Candidate" and "Signature Gathering" events. Even before Covid-19 and the current racial unrest in the nation, Simmons was on a mission to help repair the damage done to the cultural and spiritual fabric of America in this unprecedented age of division. She represents those who feel their faith, their gender, and their race have been held hostage by divisive political parties who have spent more time fighting each other instead of fighting for the American people.

Read her official statement regarding the unrest in America in the wake of the murder of George Floyd. On June 3rd, the Independent Presidential Candidate hosted a virtual rally: From Rioting to Restoration - Solutions Beyond the Prayers and the Protests to speak to the new revolution in our country and the new leadership that is needed.

New leadership unafraid to prioritize race relations and restoration requires new options on the ballot in November. Over the next few months, Simmons and Operation Restoration will be working to get on the ballot in 8 states that do not allow officially registered write-in candidates in South Carolina, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Hawaii, Arkansas, South Dakota, New Mexico, and Nevada. Operation Restoration recently launched its 4 Steps to Petition Success Campaign. Registered voters excited to have another option on their ballot can do the following:
  1. Click here to enter your information to download the petition and receive further instructions.
  2. Watch (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_h61iRQ90I0&feature=youtu.be) the quick "How to Video."
  3. Download (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1m2yRzeTFIuos7kcPik-cYnKxjKxjmTZ4/view) the petition - Note: No alterations of any kind will be accepted by the state including no written page numbers, no erasures, no strike-throughs, no "white out," etc.
  4. Mail back petition BEFORE July 9th!

Presidential Candidate Jade Simmons' campaign needs 10,000 petition signatures to secure her seat on the November ballot in South Carolina..
