By: Meyer Marketing Company, D/b/a Welcome Committee
A Michigan native, Dr. Al-Dabagh trained at the University of Michigan, Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Clinic, Duke University, and the University of California-San Francisco. He has performed over 7,000 Mohs micrographic surgeries in addition to other procedures. Mohs is a precise surgical technique used to treat skin cancer by which thin layers of cancer-containing skin are progressively removed and examined until only cancer-free tissue remains. Mohs surgery is considered the gold standard in skin cancer treatment due to its high cure rate. It's also cost-effective because it's performed in-house, eliminating costly hospital stays. Other procedures offered by PC Dermatology include excisions, electrodessication and curettage, cryotherapy, topical chemotherapy and immunotherapy and electrocautery.
"I am so excited to be back in beautiful North Carolina," says Dr. Al-Dabagh. He first became enamored with North Carolina while completing his dermatology residency at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Al-Dabagh is a personal trainer and has a passion for fitness and whole-body health. He believes in a holistic approach to skin health and staying youthful through excellent diet, exercise and lifestyle modifications. He is dedicated to helping his patients achieve their most radiant skin from the inside-out with an individualized skincare routine and total wellness plan.
In his free time, Dr. Al-Dabagh enjoys traveling abroad and learning about other cultures. He travels abroad annually on mission trips offering his services to the under-served.
