-- Second Wind Dreams® has partnered with Heart of Georgia Altamaha Regional Commission (HOGA) and the Southern Georgia Area Agency on Aging to present a virtual conference, "Resources for Rural Caregiving: Finding the Hidden Treasures." The conference will take place July 9-10 and all sessions will be available online.
This crucial conference will provide a wide array of invaluable resources, information, and networking opportunities to eldercare professionals and rural caregivers living in Georgia. Featured presentations include keynote by Second Wind Dreams® founder and Virtual Dementia Tour® creator P.K. Beville. In addition to the 3 host organizations, speakers from AllHealth CHOICE, Georgia Division of Aging Services, Alliant Health Solutions, and Coastal Regional Commission of Georgia will be joining. The entire list of expert presenters and topics may be viewed at www.secondwind.org.
As eldercare leaders and innovators in the state of Georgia, Second Wind Dreams, HOGA, and the Southern Georgia Area Agency on Aging value the importance of providing resources to all caregivers regardless of socioeconomic status. Second Wind Dreams' CEO Gwenyth Johnson says, "Person centered-care and the idea of aging in place go hand in hand. We must provide high quality services to older adults and those who care for them no matter where they reside."
Registration is open! Thanks to generous support from our Presenting Sponsor AARP Georgia and featured exhibitors, there is no cost to register.
