As you may already know, India received its Independence over 70 ago, yet at the present date, India has not discovered a single molecule. Current modern  drugs, such as morphine, digitalis, dopamine, reserpine etc, have been derived from the medicinal plants of India . At the present, functional food and health supplements, phyto chemicals, such as curcumin (from turmeric), ashwagandha, gugul, Amla, Garcinia, bioperine (Gol Maricha) Moringa ( Sajina), Tulsi, Vasak, ginger and hundreds of  ayurvedic  isolated plants (in Capsules or tablets  form) are being validated and widely sold in Supermarkets, pharmacies, Healthfood Stores, Wholefoods, Costco and Amazon in USA, Canada and Europe.

In COVID Pandemic, Ayurvedic strategy of increasing human immunity is winning credibility and markets worldwide; at the cost of Chinese Traditional Medicine which contains animal products. As  reported by "Store Market Research" of Europe, America health food stores like GNC, Whole Foods, CVS and supermarkets as well as Indian grocery stores.

Tulsi extracts and Giloy (Guduchi) are top 2 products in demand. In addition the following products are also getting increasingly higher demand:

Ashwa gandha, Amla, Gokshura, Kalmegh, Turmeric ( Haldi), Neem, Papaya seeds and Noni. It is accepted that Kalmegh   ( Andrographis) is highly effective against Influenzas.

Various Ayurvedic  therapies including Panchakarmas  ( various cleansing, purification, relaxation) are so scientific and gaining  popular  in USA and Europe.

There are so much farming land in our country where qualified farmers can grow high value medicinal plants and those could be processed into extracts, powders for  domestic and export purpose.

In many States , we find the Department of Ayurvedic Medicine is  poorly managed whereas Central Government has so much funding  for the department of AYUSH  in Indian States. Why Director of   AYUSH and Ayurvedic  Medicine in  some states are not  experts in the subject of Ayurvedic medicine, who could oversee it's  education on Ayurvedic medicine, dispensaries, pharmacies, and over all the science of Ayurvedic medicine.  We approach to  some state Government   of  India, where Ayurvedic medicine is neglected  to take special  interests  on this growing  medical science and it's department.
