Original equipment manufacturer releases powerful new IoT asset tracking device

SHENZHEN, China - June 5, 2020 - PRLog -- An original equipment and design manufacturer specializing in GPS tracking devices announced today that they have released a new NB-IOT tracking product as part of their line of Bluetooth-enabled GPS tracking devices.

Shenzhen Eelink Communication Technology Co., Ltd, or Eelink, has launched TK418 IOT Asset GPS device with BLE Beacon BT01. The device was designed to be concealed within NB-IoT assets, with the capacity to be wired or mounted to track the asset's location with nearby Bluetooth beacon signals.

The TK418 IOT Asset GPS device, built with wireless personal area network technology, powers the tracking, with the ability to deliver tracking data to any GPS monitoring platform.

According to company spokesperson Apple Ko, BLE is a variant of the Bluetooth technology used in many wireless consumer electronics for short-range communication.

"BLE is ideal for managing assets of all shapes, sizes, and values, especially as more companies incorporate connected systems as they transition to the Internet of Things," Ko said. "Our TK418 GPS tracking devices IoT sensors also serve as Bluetooth Gateways, enabling local communication with other tagged assets and mobile devices for affordable and efficient asset management and sensor monitoring applications."

The cutting-edge TK418 device includes a number of upgraded features, including relay for remotely cut engines and a choice to customize with one of three new options: sensors for monitoring temperature, an external battery for power supply or an SOS button to call for help.

Eelink's newest product is part of the LTE CAT MI/NB2 network, with ACC detection and the potential for GPIO or RS232 Expansion. The waterproof device includes a built-in battery and G-sensor with low-power alarms. It was designed to provide real-time tracking, with data uploaded at regular intervals.
