-- Dr. Dallas Stout has been appointed to a 1-year term on Ashford University's Faculty Council as a member of the Doctoral Advisory Council. In making the appointment, Dr. Craig D. Swenson, President of Ashford University stated "As you serve on the Council your voice and perspectives will be key in exploring ways to further doctoral culture, doctoral student progression, and student retention in alignment with the university's mission. You will also play a key role in recommending curriculum enhancements to support student engagement and promoting the growth of doctoral programs".
Upon receiving the news from Dr. Swenson, Dr. Stout stated, "After over 13 years teaching at the College level, this will be my first foray into faculty governance. I consider it an honor to be invited to serve on this Council and I look forward to it".
