The St. Louis Area Foodbank's donations received a dollar-for-dollar match from the JTO, BB3 Matching Gift Event, sponsored by The Jayson Taum Foundation, Brad Beal and Lineage Logistics. With every $25.00 raised, the Foodbank will be able to provide 200 meals to children, families and seniors impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The impact of the coronavirus has hit every area throughout the St. Louis region. The need has never been greater in recent times to help members of our community with basics such as food, personal care items and cleaning products," said Brian Parsons, ACC STL president, and Senior Counsel, Macy's Inc.
"The ACC STL members represent a wide variety of corporations, locally based businesses and start ups, and each of us is committed to investing our personal time and professional resources into making St. Louis a community where we help one another and give one another support to thrive," added Parsons.
In 2019, ACC STL received the Gold Chapter of Distinction by the national Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC). The award recognizes the Chapter's accomplishments in areas including programming, membership recruitment, and governance / operations. In 2018, ACC STL received the Gold Level Award, and the Innovation Award for Best Membership / Recruitment.
