"Chief Hect and the other Board Members will take OSPDA to the next level in professional law enforcement," Dr. Daniel Hect is currently serving as director of training for the National Association of Campus Safety Administrators and the chief of police at the Village of Hartford in Central Ohio. Hect has over 30 years in law enforcement service. Dr. Hect has been adjunct faculty at Xavier University and Westwood College. He holds an Ed.D in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University, Masters in Liberal Studies from the University of Southern California, and Bachelors in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, along with professional certifications from The National Association of Campus Safety Administrators, Southern Police Institute and OPOTA.
