HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - May 26, 2020 - PRLog -- What better time to immerse in a mindfulness retreat — from home!
For this unique summer season, iBme (Inward Bound Mindfulness Education) has adapted its signature mindfulness retreats to an online environment to bring a meaningful and transformative retreat experience. In addition to the teen retreats, iBme will be offering all ages retreats as well, inviting participants to learn skills for sustaining a home practice and bringing more ease and compassion into your life and relationships.

The full online summer retreat schedule can be found here:
https://ibme.com/calendar/

June 22–26, 2020 - June Teen Retreat
July 6–10, 2020 - July Teen Retreat
July 17-19, 2020 - July All Ages Retreat
July 27–31, 2020 - July Teen Retreat
July 28–July 31, 2020 - Teens of Color Retreat
August 3–7, 2020 - August Teen Retreat
August 14-16, 2020 - August All Ages Retreat

The online retreats will include periods of:

• guided mindfulness meditation
• instruction on integrating mindfulness into daily life
• small-group periods for discussion and social connection, and
• workshops on various topics such as mindful eating; restorative yoga; mindful communication; and how to use digital technology wisely (with a focus on the pressures of the current moment).

All participants will receive ongoing, personalized support and practice advice in small groups from highly experienced meditation teachers and mentors, just like we provide on our in-person retreats.

Feedback from recent online retreats:

"This experience made a challenging time much more manageable. The opportunities to connect with others in meditation, movement, conversation, emotion, social connection, mindful practice, dance, and thought were so precious. What an amazing gift."

"Thank you, Thank you from the bottom of my heart. What you are doing could not be more important and the skill of the teaching that you offer is fantastic."

"I feel so grateful to have a meditation practice and community right now as we "shelter in place" in California. In-person social interactions (outside of those with my partner) have been very limited so these chances to connect mean a lot. Yay for Zoom!!"

About iBme
iBme formed from the foundation of a 30-year lineage of teen mindfulness which began with retreats offered in Barre, Massachusetts in 1989. It is from this foundation that Jessica Morey, co-founder and current executive director of iBme who attended her first retreat at age 14, was inspired to launch a non-profit dedicated to teaching mindfulness to young people. Since its founding in 2010, iBme has grown from a nonprofit based in Washington, DC, to an organization that holds retreats across the US, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
